At Make Happy Memories, we've got it all covered for you! If needed, we arrange for a rental van to transport everything to you seamlessly. Rest assured, we have skilled drivers at your service! Our delivery and setup services are available for an extra fee, providing you with the convenience of time-saving and ensuring flawless arrangements on your special wedding day.
The cost for these services will depend on several factors, including how many days prior we need to be on location, the number of items (for instance, if it's a substantial amount, we may need to hire additional assistance), and, of course, the destination. It's important to note that some shipping companies have restrictions on transporting vans on certain boats, which may also influence the cost and logistics.

How do I handle damaged or missing items from the rental equipment?

When loading our van for the journey to your location, we diligently inventory all items destined for the wedding venue. Similarly, after the event, we conduct a thorough count to ensure that everything has been returned intact. In the rare instance that an item is missing or damaged, we will promptly notify you and request the appropriate compensation.

Do I need to clean the rental items after the wedding?

We refer to this process as 'Deparassage,' and once again, it's a service we handle as part of our offerings. As you can imagine, it can be quite a messy task, and therefore, an additional charge applies. Typically, this service costs around 100€ to 150€, with the exact amount depending on the size of your order.

Can I make last-minute changes to my rental order?

It's best to finalize your rental order well in advance, but some changes may be possible closer to the wedding date, depending on item availability. However, last-minute changes could incur extra charges. For example, if the volume of the order changes and we need to upgrade to a bigger van, or the travel expenses might be altered.

Do We need more equipment like more dinner plates or glasses?

The essence of renting equipment such as charger plates and cutlery lies in enhancing our chosen theme and style, an element we often refer to as the 'First Impression.' When guests step into the venue for the first time, our goal is to create a truly remarkable experience. Renting items like glasses, which are commonly available at most venues and caterers, won't significantly impact this pivotal moment for your guests. The same principle applies to dinner and dessert plates, which the catering staff will naturally handle to proceed with the menu. However, when it comes to infusing your table setting with specific details, say, a touch of gold, the choice of silver cutlery provided by the catering team may create a contrasting and less cohesive look, disrupting the overall harmony you're aiming for.
Furthermore, glasses from rental companies that come in vibrant colors tend to appear bulky and lack elegance. On the other hand, those that exude elegance are often extremely fragile, increasing the likelihood of breakage and subsequent charges.

How about cutlery?

In this area, we request your trust in our judgment. We've personally visited all the rental companies in Greece, thoroughly inspecting and handling their offerings. Often, the cutlery, due to frequent use, exhibits dark spots and, more importantly, tends to feel lightweight, lacking the quality we aim for.
